Project Manager (m/f/d) in the automotive supply industry – Cable assembly
Your tasks
- Project management: Responsibility for planning, managing, and implementing cable assembly projects for our customers (automotive, industrial, and medical) from technical clarification to prototypes and samples to support during series production start-up.
- Customer support: Point of contact for our customers for technical clarification and support during change processes during product development.
- Quality management: Monitoring compliance with quality standards and specifications in accordance with the requirements of the automotive industry.
- Team coordination: Leading interdisciplinary project teams, ensuring a smooth flow of information and effective collaboration and documentation.
- Risk management: Identifying potential project risks and developing measures to avoid them.
- Communication with internal and external interfaces: Ensuring smooth project execution.
- Sample requests and order management: Requesting samples in accordance with specifications, as well as transferring and supporting orders to the manufacturing plant.
- Reporting: Communication and transparent reporting to internal and external stakeholders.
Your profile
- Completed technical vocational training or technician or degree (e.g., electrical engineering, mechanical engineering) or comparable qualification
- Several years of experience in project management, ideally in the automotive supply industry or in the field of cable assembly, is desirable
- Knowledge of cable assembly processes and automotive industry requirements
- Strong communication and organizational skills, ability to work in a team, and a high degree of initiative
- Good assertiveness and self-organization skills
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Very good knowledge of MS Office and ERP systems
- Very good written and spoken German and English skills
