• Analysis of information provided by customers
• Clarification of technical and commercial issues with customers, together with project/product management and sales
• Close cooperation with project management and the technical department
• Determination of manufacturing costs
• Creating the bill of materials
• Planning the necessary work processes and their optimal sequence
• Calculating labor costs using a planned time catalog
• Determining material costs and necessary investments
• Creating the quotation document

• Completed technical or commercial training
• Alternatively, professional experience in costing at a manufacturing company or comparable activity
• Basic knowledge of product costing
• Self-organization, goal-oriented and accurate work, always taking business management aspects into account
• Ability to recognize overarching connections and problems and develop solutions
• High level of commitment, organizational skills, and ability to work in a team
• Experience in using modern MS Office applications and ERP systems
• Very good written and spoken German
• Good English skills
